Yes, with active use, the handheld battery lasts up to 7 hours. This makes it suitable for a full service without recharging in the meantime.
Yes, orders placed on your handheld arrive automatically in the kitchen. You do this by connecting your handheld to the receipt printer or Kitchen Display System (KDS) in the kitchen. For more information about the KDS, click here.
There is no maximum number of handhelds that you can use at the same time. This means that on busy days, you can provide your entire team with a handheld, so you can take orders as efficiently and quickly as possible.
You can easily handle peak moments with Twelve's mobile solutions, such as handhelds. These flexible additional outlets can be deployed quickly when the crowds increase, without having to permanently purchase additional staff or fixed hardware. This way, you stay efficient, save costs and improve the customer experience.
Most of the handheld can be used independently, but payments via the PIN function require an internet connection. The system does not work completely offline, although you can easily purchase a data bundle from Twelve to stay connected everywhere. In addition, we also offer Adyen terminals that can temporarily handle offline situations.
